Chulalongkorn University organizes a volunteer project during September 18 – 19, 2014 to prepare construction materials for building temporary classrooms for schools in Chuang Rai which were severely damaged by earthquake. These temporary classrooms will be installed by CU volunteers at Wat Teppawan, Chiangrag, during October 10 -12, 2004.
This volunteer project aims to provide local students with temporary classrooms and to create model of disaster aid operations to help disaster victims. CU students will have an opportunity to apply what they have learned in classroom to help the Thai society in practice. The project sees supports from CU students from the Faculty of Engineering and other faculties as well as CU lecturers who give useful advices in construction and the local residents who will help install the classrooms.
